OnlyFans' Billionnaire Owner, Leo Radvinsky, Dies at 43

In a statement released Monday and seen by Impact Newswire, a spokesperson for OnlyFans confirmed that Radvinsky passed away peacefully following a “long battle with cancer.” While the specific type of cancer was not disclosed, the company noted that he had been battling the illness privately for some time.

Radvinsky is survived by his wife, Katie Chudnovsky, and their four children.

The Man Behind the Screen

Born in Odesa, Ukraine, Radvinsky moved to Chicago as a child, eventually graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in economics. Despite his status as one of the most influential figures in the digital creator economy, he was notoriously private, rarely giving interviews and maintaining a low profile at his home in Florida.

His professional legacy is inextricably linked to his 2018 acquisition of Fenix International, the parent company of OnlyFans. At the time, the platform was a struggling startup founded by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely. Radvinsky saw potential where others saw risk, eventually steering the platform toward an adult-content model that empowered creators to monetise their fanbases directly.

The OnlyFans Phenomenon

Under Radvinsky’s leadership, OnlyFans became a household name. The platform’s growth exploded during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a digital lifeline for millions of performers and celebrities. By early 2026, the site boasted over 300 million users and nearly 5 million creators.

Radvinsky’s business model was as lucrative as it was controversial. By taking a 20% cut of all transactions, he built a financial empire that generated over $1 billion in annual revenue. His personal fortune reflected this success; at the time of his death, Forbes estimated his net worth at approximately $4.7 billion, bolstered by nearly $2 billion in dividends paid out since 2021.

Philanthropy and Technical Interests

Radvinsky was a dedicated technologist and philanthropist. He was a vocal supporter of open-source software and a major donor to the Elixir programming language community. His charitable efforts spanned various causes, including significant donations to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and millions in aid to Ukraine following the 2022 invasion.

Radvinsky’s passing comes at a critical juncture for OnlyFans. Earlier this year, reports surfaced that the company was exploring a majority stake sale to investment firm Architect Capital, a deal that could value the platform at $5.5 billion.

While his death leaves a void in the company’s leadership, his impact on the “passion economy”—remains an indelible mark on the history of the internet.
